I used to protect my privacy using a VPN, but I can't anymore due to my router (don't ask why). Are there any other ways I could hide what I do online? Thanks.

I explained it in the edit, but it is because he thinks I spend a lot more time on youtube than I do (I stream music from youtube and have told him, but he doesn't listen) and that I should spend more time on my schoolwork. He also may have seen some iffy things when my VPN was off, but nothing THAT bad.

VPNs and Tor are about your only bets, if you're referring to all data. Other than that, simply web browsing data can be done through a proxy, though he could catch on to that fairly quickly too.

Thanks! I can now view pron things with nobody knowing.

There are ways to help diminish your presence on the internet, so to speak, without a VPN.  How?  Browser extensions.

uBlock - Blocks ads and tracking scripts.

HTTPS Everywhere - Uses HTTPS when possible.

HTTPS Finder - Detects and enforces HTTPS when available.  This should be used alongside HTTPS Everywhere.

BetterPrivacy - Deletes Flash cookies (LSOs).

NoScript - Stops scripts being used on webpages, unless you allow them.

RequestPolicy - Doesn't let other sites know your browsing habits.

Changing some things in "about:config".

Turn off Geolocation:
geo.enabled => false

Set a "do-not-track" header to tell sites not to track browsing habits:
privacy.donottrackheader.enabled => true

Disable Google Blacklists:
browser.safebrowsing.enabled => false
browser.safebrowsing.maleware.enabled => false

Replace Google Search with Starpage or Ixquick.
