     + Motherbaord : MSI Z97 Gaming 7 LGA 1150, Z97 ( Atx ) or MSI MSI Z97M Gaming LGA 1150 (  micro atx )

If your gaming you dont need an i7.

And I thought we weren't getting broadwell on desktop?

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

i7 9700K (5.2Ghz @1.2V); MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC; Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB 3200 CAS 16; H100i RGB Platinum; Samsung 970 Evo 1TB; Samsung 850 Evo 500GB; WD Black 3 TB; Phanteks 350x; Corsair RM19750w.

Laptop: Dell XPS 15 4K 9750H GTX 1650 16GB Ram 256GB SSD

Spoiler

I really don't know :/ perhaps if you could help me :) i just know that broadwell will reduce the consomption so only for laptop not for desktop soo i guess that you are right

If you have a need now, buy now.

As for replacing a brand new 4790k with a broadwell CPU, that's just ridiculous. The broadwell CPU won't be significantly better than the 4790k, and that upgrade would just be a huge money sink.

Ah ok thx, but for skylake ???

I believe that brodwell will have the same socket and chipset as haswell but if you do an upgrade go skylake which should come out not to much after broadwell and will be a much better investment

Yeah Skylake is lga 1151 so yeah i guess that i should wait

Think of the difference between Ivy Bridge and Haswell-refresh. It's not worth it trading up your i7-3770k for an i7-4790k. Heck, even Sandy Bridge is still fine today and I wouldn't recommend an upgrade from that. I'm still rocking an i7-920, although at this point most would have upgraded. As I said, if you have a need now, buy now. There is always something around the corner, and although it's better, it's only incrementally better, not a big difference.
