If it's overclocked it might be but i'd guess it's just a graphical bug.

What kind of graphics card do you have?

How hot is it getting?

Is there any other artifacting or screen tearing?

We need info to answer your question man.

Using a gtx 780 lightning.

Never gets above 65c

No other artifacting, and it only happens in this game when I turn he settings up. It's bizarre and very distracting.
