Hey there!

I was about to order 2x ASUS GTX 980 Matrix Platinum for around 720€ each. Then I noticed that the 980TI will cost around 700$ - 1000$ and has way more Cuda Cores and overall performance so the answer is pretty simple.

But since the release of them was set for between last month up to the end of 2016 I cant live that long without a pc. So, simple question is there a cheap way to run atleast one screen with this hardware:

Intel Core i7-5960X

Asus Rampage V EXtreme

Just get the two damn 980s, we don't even know if there will be a 980 ti.

if the i7 has an integrated gpu then you can use it without a dedicated gpu.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Actually way better than the pentium laptop without gpu im using currently. And even that can run photoshop and stuff like that.

The up to 800 cuda cores sound pretty nasty for rendering and the additional 2gb will make them least a while.
