Audeze was robbed on the night of February 28 and about $250,000 worth of headphones was stolen.

to sell them, it all depends on how easy it is to track a headset.

Well considering that the LCD-3 cost £1600 each converted to USD = $2500 and $250000 worth were stolen $250000/$2500 = 100 headsets were stolen. They probably took a 2 or 3 people each with a bag or two and dumped it into car

I've been eyeing Audeze cans for a good year now. They look awesome and classy and they sound great from what I've read.

 

I hope they'll recover from this and I hope the thieves are brought to justice.

You shouldn't be converting from GPB/EURO, seeing as they're based out of the US & the warehouse that was broken into is in California.

LCD-3 are $2,000 here & LCD-2 are $1,000, LCD-XC are $1800 and LCD-X are $1,700

 

It was most likely close to 150 pairs total of mixed pairs.

Obviously they planned the heist for a significant amount of time. You don't just stumble into a warehouse and say, "Hey, maybe these are worth something, I'll take them ALL."
