Which should I go with???

 

970x2 if money is no matter.

 

It's better value per dollar.

The projects never end in my line of work.

1- sli 970

2- cfx 290

3- 295x2

 

With inst the 980 not an option?

 

Because its horrible value.

and you can always add another 980 later

If you are gaming at 1080p then get a Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-Gaming-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00NH5T1MS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1425092359&sr=1-1&keywords=970+g1 If you can afford two of them for SLI then go that route.

 

If you are gaming at 1440p or higher then GTX 980 all the way.
