I recently bought a power supply and MSI GTX 750 ti and the computer starts up until I get to a windows logo. From there the computer continues to do normal sounds it would make ( such as the windows sound) how do I activate the card so it goes through to the desktop?

Plug monitor into GPU.

Install drivers.

And then go to the BIOS to disable the on-board GPU

(Also that same topic being posted many days doesn't help much)

Your motherboard should turn off integrated graphics when a dedicated GPU is inserted

Motherboards with Graphics should have an option in the BIOS where it forces the Internal to stay off or automatic detec mode where when a GPU is detected iGPU is disabled.

Best practice is to leave it on auto mode as if you GPU dies you'll have to use a GPU to use the computer where as in Auto mode you can just default back to the iGPU for diagnostic or until you replace the GPU.

Hope that makes sense.
