How long does it normally take amazon to ship something out in the US?

Did you have multiple items, and check ship all at once? If so then they might have to get the other items to the same warehouse.

Its been 3 days and they have yet to ship anything out... 

Could it be because of the so called winter storm?

Depends if it is something Amazon handles for shipping. Amazon ships every day before 3PM Pst

 

If it isn't, it's the seller you're waiting for to take it somewhere to be shipped.

Amazon is usually very quick, just shoot them an email.  If it's a third-party seller they might just be incompetent.

 

 

Depends if it is something Amazon handles for shipping. Amazon ships every day before 3PM Pst

 

If it isn't, it's the seller you're waiting for to take it somewhere to be shipped.

I have amazon prime and 3 days ago I ordered some headphones,speakers,books,and dirt and got them all today.Amazon Prime is beast everything ships in 2 days.

If you have Prime(2 day shipping), Amazon ships it same day. If you are using standard shipping they may not ship the item for a few days, but it should arrive at your door in the time allotted( 3 to 5, 5 to 7 days).
