How does one wash a mousepad?

Any good ways on how every here on LTT washes their mousepads? Mine has this build up of idk... Each time I  scratch it, it kinda turns white.

take it with you in the shower or so and just wash it with a bit shampoo should work fine

Soak it in warm water, take an old tooth brush and put on normal dish soap and get to scrubbing. Really makes the QCK feel like a new pad after. I normally toss it in the dryer on the lowest setting after

Just giving it an ordinary wash with soap won't hurt it either (I have a Corsair MM200, washed it many times and it's fine)

I tossed mine in the washing machine at 60'C and it came out clean

I wouldn't wash it manually (treating it like a cleaning/dish cloth) as it may degrade the surface texture quality

I have the Compact version which... well is a bit too compact so hopefully will get either an extended edition or the MM600 which is pretty awesome too
