So, whenever I do anything crazy with my computer normally when I take my motherboard out and start to cable manage my hands get mangled. I just purchased some individual sleeved cables for my AX850 white ones and they look pretty sweet I'll take pictures soon. However my question to the community is what do you guys do to stop yourself from getting your hands put through the GRINDER :P

I never have cut myself with the few builds I've done. Even taking apart a 7 year old pre-built and put it back together.

I was working on a pc from one of my mom's friends at work, and I had to take the whole thing apart to clean it. Really cheaply made packard bell case or something like that and when I pulled the drive cage out I got a huge slice on my hand. Honestly it didn't hurt, and since it dark inside all I noticed was it was wet all of a sudden in the case.

The backs of PCBs often cut up my knuckles when I'm digging around cramped cases. I'm a computer geek and my hands sometime look like I'm a bare knuckle boxer. :)

I try to wear gloves a lot now.

I cut myself on my friend's Antec 900v2. Because, you know, who needs rolled edges? They make killing a goat with your case so much more difficult.

How does a 900v2 not have rolled edges? My 300 has rolled edges.

Actually, not that it matters much, it was a Nine Hundred Two V3 case. Anyway, I have no idea how it got through to shipping. There were a lot of jagged edged that I ended up finding the hard way, and it's not as though I'm careless around computers or anything for that matter. I worked in a kitchen for several years and never cut myself, yet cut myself a few times on that stupid Antec case.

I just think that sometimes for me that it happens because I'm trying to squeeze my hand through a very narrow area. For example I think this time I cut myself it was with my fractal design define r4 and the top rubber cut out's are in a weird spot on the top left where its not easily accessed when you have components placed in.

I haven't cut myself for a long time. Old PCs used to cut me up about 10years ago but new cases are fairly good and getting rid of sharp edges.

I'm not sure so much now its the sharp edges as much as its moving my hands in weird places. I don't know maybe larger cases are a little easier to deal with in that regard. I kind of wish I would have purchased the fractal design define XL R2

I cut myself CONSTANTLY not only on computer cases but other electronics I take apart.  It never ends.  Wearing gloves only does so much. I don't cut myself much with the plastic custom cases, but I do alot with old mainstream tower cases like dell, hp, gateway etc.

Cut my wrist on the edge of a fan once. I think that was it.

It looked like I had purposefully cut myself and I had to explain myself to a couple of people. :P My computer was fine though.

My Cooler Master Stacker 830 and I have had some battles over the years. Now that I am moving into my 350D, I'm going to miss the bloodshed. Also I mangled my knuckles a few times when I used to own a huge flower orb copper cooler in the socket 939 days.

Yes it was! IIRC, that retention bracket was right down the middle of those blades.

You have to shed blood in a build or it wont post. That's just the laws of space and time.

It's how you become one with the matrix.

Worst cut I've received from PC building/modding/etc.

Slid a razor knife through the tip/side of my thumb. About an inch long cut and deep enough to nearly scraped the underside of the nail. Several stitches to hold it back together and stop it from being permanently forked ;) I'm sure I could scrounge up a picture or two but I don't think it's necessary there's no need for a gore thread. Nothing like telling the doctor, when they have time to see you that you need stitches to have them roll their eyes then ask to see it. Then only to say with heavy emphasis OH yes, you DEFINITELY need stitches.

I do a lot of work with glass so cutting myself is a fairly frequent occurrence. More of a slight annoyance than anything.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
