Worst cut I've received from PC building/modding/etc.

Slid a razor knife through the tip/side of my thumb. About an inch long cut and deep enough to nearly scraped the underside of the nail. Several stitches to hold it back together and stop it from being permanently forked ;) I'm sure I could scrounge up a picture or two but I don't think it's necessary there's no need for a gore thread. Nothing like telling the doctor, when they have time to see you that you need stitches to have them roll their eyes then ask to see it. Then only to say with heavy emphasis OH yes, you DEFINITELY need stitches.

I do a lot of work with glass so cutting myself is a fairly frequent occurrence. More of a slight annoyance than anything.

I kind of did that today I was cutting the long end off some cable ties. Scissor got me pretty good :X but it'll go away.

Still though battle wound though from modding sounds like the end result better have been worth it :P

When I saw building my case, I was working on a radiator stand and the hole saw kicked... ended up in the ER.  Good times, lol.  Made the case cost skyrocket though, lol.

I have a pretty awesome picture but it's pretty gorey.

Nope, definitely didn't slip.  It was spinning, it caught, kicked hard enough to jump out of the hole, grazed the ankle.

For those that haven't seen a hole saw:

Yea that looks familiar. Is that the one with the crappy plastic push pin mounts for Intel? An old coworker gave me one similar to that one but it had one push pin that would not push down correctly...what the heck did I do with that thing? I probably tossed it. The last few years I have been using a Cooler Master V8. On my current work in progress build, i'll be going H100i. For old times sake, I'm sure I will get bodily harm on the rad fins.

actually a h100i is as safe as it gets. Also invest in solid fans over the 120L fans they make a weird noise idk I don't like stock fans with coolers to being with. And actually it was to my knowledge for both but was mainly fit for the socket 939.

did you ever finish the mod or did you have someone finish for you?

I finished it, lol.  Suppose to be picking the case up from the powder coater this week

Yea I have SP120's (Performance) to replace the stock fans. However I bought them before the PWM versions were available. I'll most likely use the step down voltage adapter to keep noise manageable.

I gotcha. I have the quiet editions and I leave the voltage adapter off imo quiet enough.
