Xonar's are the best I know of. I think they're probably at least pro-sumer grade. Beyond that you're looking at professional studio level equipment.

Within what budget? A soundcard will do in a pinch but will not be ideal for headphones.

Skip the sound card and get a usb microphone and use the integrated audio for headphones and speakers.

I have an MSI gaming 7 and when I plug in my ModMic 4 it sounds terrible

There is a bad static background noise and my voice sounds very tin can like it's hard to explain it just does not sound as clear and clean as Linus's review

any will do for mic input. Go on amazon and search "usb sound card" get the cheapest one with the best reviews. I would get the Syba for $8.49 free shipping with prime. And if you dont have prime, $8.99 with free shipping.
