Do i just change the ratio to 36 for all cores?

Yes. (or whatever ratio results in acceptable temps -- p.s. 34 is stock). 

 

You could also try setting it to 'Auto' (just type Auto instead of a number) if you want to return it to defaults.

From the start my 4690k was hot (compared to my friends) it was 38 degrees idle and my friends was 28 when first using the BIOS and stuff. Before today it was usually around 40-50 with all of my case fans NOT SPINNING and doing light folding. Today I ran the asus 4 way optimization thingy and several restarts later a looked at it and saw the CPU temp was red, at about 82 degrees running only chrome, spotify, and doin light folding. I am using a stock cooler (I would rather get a graphics card)

You've overclocked on a stock cooler. Of course it's going to run hot.

Something doesnt seem right, the moment I set the ratio to 36 the temps went to 60, instantly...

That's totally right. Turn it off for 30 minutes, then turn it back on, idle temps should be lower than that, but still has heat from running at 80. Don't OC on a stock cooler. If they were capable of those speeds with the stock cooler, then they'd come clocked at those speeds by default.

I didnt want to overclock, the asus thing automaticly did, it ll never do that again
