...or do you people think Linus has moved away from reviewing PC hardware and more towards consumer electronics over the past year? (wearables, phones, novelties etc...)

In a way, sure. I know the channel started out as a PC hardware overview channel, but the word "tech" is present in the name as opposed to the word being "computer." I don't necessarily mind it. They've still done plenty of PC hardware stuff though.

Nah, Linus reviews a fair amount of PC hardware, its just that there aren't as many releases for PC stuff as their is consumer electronics. With phones alone, there will be 5+ major launches per year. With graphics cards, it only happens twice(if that) and the same for CPU's.

I would suggest, why not make a guide on how to watercool your system? The NCIX one sucks.

Why not make a review on the new Corsair gpu WCers?

Why not a test comparing 10 ssds in raid 0 and a hard drive? 

Why not making a video comparing IPS 4K and 1080p tn?

There is no point in reviewing crazy, high-end hardware other than for just awe. And there isn't a lot of new stuff that's really interesting. 

 

He has to keep up or else he's gonna be restrained to being just a PC hardware specialist. Which will restrain channel growth an so on....

IMO you kinda have tow polar opposites in the tech youtube community.  @JayzTwoCents is all about hardware and GPUs and water-cooling on the one side, and Unbox Therapy is all about "novelties".  Not that it's a bad thing but I think Linus has taken the middle ground.

I think honestly quite a bit has changed with LTT and The WAN Show and it isn't all bad but it isn't all good.

Like for instance when someone shares a story and there is a I don't give a damn about getting the name right of the person who sourced it to LTT or even saying any name.  I also think that at times I see Luke holding back when he wants to rip Linus a new one.  This may one day set things up for a show or segment for Luke called "WTF LINUS?".  If you do it Linus or Luke give me mention in the credits.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Do you pay attention to the tech community? They all respect each other and work together. When one has already done an exceptional review of an issue, others usually point to their work. Example: Jayztwocents speaking about gtx970 ram issues, gave his opinio(twocents), but for technical jargon posted a link to LTT's video on the same issue. Linus has several videos of water cooling installation, but most are for gpu's. For whole system cooling check out Jayztwocents - he doesn't even build a system, if he can't water cool it. (his own words).

A guide to picking parts would certainly be helpful

Pc parts picker already has that built-in, if one part won't work with the rest of what you've picked-it tells you. But a guide might go too far influencing people's choices as to how to build. Like "IDOL", do you think real talent would let Simon Cowell tell them whether or not they are worth a shit? I would be too worried that everyone who saw it would try to build the same rig...and that would make it less personal, less "special."

No I fuckin don't. I never liked jay he always was biased... And that's not how it works, these people may respect each other but they will do anything to get more views.
