need help with computer crashing randomly

Hi,

A friend helped me build a new computer for me like 5 months ago and it crashes randomly just dies and starts up again it happens like 3-4 times a week,
its not just when playing games, nothing is overclocked.

motherboard asus rog gene vii
ram 2x8g corsair vengeance pro 
cpu i7 4790k
cpu cooler corsair hydro h105
gpu r9 290x 
psu corsair RM 750w 80+gold
ssd corsair 240gb
hard drive 1tb wd green intellipower 64mb
case corsair obsidian 350d

look at windows event viewer...

it tells you the reason

Make sure you have the newest drivers for your 290. There are various versions that have had issues with BSODs.

Hey,

 

That error just means Windows shut down unexpectedly, go back through the Windows logs to find some red crosses, usually a good point to start.

 

As mentioned above though :

 

Virus scan

Temp monitor

Driver update 

Try another power outlet, may be getting brownouts..
