Help picking out a z97 board

Colours

Not too familiar with the z97 boards out right now, looking to build a new PC in a month or so. Have had my eye on a few boards, but wanted to get some feedback from others. It'd be paired with a 4690k, budget is ~$150CAD. (colour doesn't really matter)

Cheers

AMD FX-8320 | Hyper 212 Evo | Gigabyte 970A-D3P | EVGA SSC 970 | Corsair 200R | Ducky 9087 Shine 2

Depending on colour scheme, i love the MSI Gaming boards. I have a Gaming 5 http://www.anandtech.com/show/8582/msi-z97-gaming-5-motherboard-review-five-is-alive

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

I have the same CPU but the non-k version. I have the z97-a which has an amazing bois. It's also really good for over clocking. :)

I for one prefer Asus over all the other manufacturers. But you might have a preference in manufacturer like Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA, exc.

Chose one that has your needs like SLI/Crossfire compatibility (If you're thinking about doing that in the near future)

Also one that has enough fan headers and fan headers where they're convenient for you, exc.

A great entry level mobo is a Asus Z97 AR
