Is my CPU good enough for gaming?

your RAM is DDR which stand for DUAL DATA RATE so the actual clock speed is 2x665=1333mhz...if you want your ram to run at 1600mhz make sure you enable it's XMP profile in your BIOS.

*double data rate

That CPU looks fine. I got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo quite cheap for my AMD Athlon X4 750K and overclocked that to 4.1GHz which allows me to get great gaming performance on my GTX 960. The only problem is my processor is a bottleneck for my gpu. Your processor is much better than mine and will overclock better so there will unlikely be a bottleneck. Look at these CPU Boss marks comparing mine to yours http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-2500K-vs-AMD-Athlon-X4-750k

Your GTX 560Ti is not performing at full potential. The usage is only topping up at 34% (in your screenshot).

Second, the GTX 560Ti won't get you high framerates in BF4 when you have the graphical setting maxed out (i.e. Ultra settings, 4X MSAA, HABO, etc). You need something much more powerful to do that. Plus, 1GB of VRAM will limit your performance as well.

1GB of VRAM was already holding me back in BF3 with my two Radeon HD 5850's.

Realistically, you'd probably be looking at High / Medium settings with a GTX 560 Ti of you want to maintain a minimum of ~60 FPS in multiplayer.

Thanks for replying man, I think you misunderstood me. I was saying that I had my settings on the lowest possible, not on the max :)

Anyway, can someone please help me with this? I dont seem to have this problem in any other game and my GPU preforms exellent outside BF4. Is this a bottle-neck issue? What do I do to solve this?

Also, I did not notice a difference in frame rate when I turned the settings from low to med, even max on some texture settings.

Have you disabled the Origin in-game from the Origin settings?

Nope, why?

Nope, why?

causes huge performance dips for a lot of people. For most people it results in really bad stuttering and hiccups rather than poor framerate but it's worth trying. Either way there's troubleshooting to be done before upgrading since you should be able to play at 60 fps at about medium settings @ 1080P with a 560 Ti and 2500K.

Hey guys, so I am planning on getting a 970 soon so I can play battlefield 4. ( I only get 20 FPS ATM on low settings with my 560 TI,) So I am wondering, will my CPU be enough, or do I really have to upgrade that too? I am running a stock cooler ATM, so I cant OC it

CPU: I5 2500k 3.30 GHZ

You should upgrade when skylake comes around, overclock your cpu and you should be fine until then.

Can you help me troubleshoot the problem?

Try disabling Origin in-game (as in the pic above) and give it a try and see how the game runs.

Also, how much RAM do you have? What version of Windows are you running? 32-bit or 64-bit? Do other games run fine?

Guys thank you so much! It seems like after I disabled that origin thing my GPU usage is now back up to 80-90 % and I'm getting a solid 70 FPS on medium settings. I'm so happy, thank you so much.
