I think it's about the same as a 270 265 rather, which is an okay 1080P card. You can play everything low to medium with 60FPS. @Bubblewhale will know more.

Correction: It's an R7 265. 270 is 7870.

Either way at that price it's a good deal.

@Bubblewhale what's this about 1FPS in CS:GO?

Op get it. For that price its ridiculous. You are basically getting a card which costs 100£ for 40.

At stock it performs pretty great but please for the love of God overclock it. The HD 7850 is well known to overclock like a beast with people getting 1200 MHz from it. Once overclocked you can expect 270x performance.

Nah R9 270 is 7870 and R9 270X is 7870GHz Edition

Both 1280 Core Pitcairn GPUs just clock speed difference.

really? omg...i'd rather buy a 270 and clock it myself then...are you sure the R9 270X isnt based on a tahiti chip like the HD7870 XT was?

1GB or 2.

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

Very sure. Both are Pitcairn XT chips.

There isn't a Tahiti LE chip in the R7/9 series lineup on consumer side :)

Lowest Tahiti chip is the Tahiti PRO R9 280 with a 1792 shader implementation.

Linus did a video on it. Also yeah the 270x is a pretty stupid card IMO.
