Hey guys, I just upgraded to Google Chrome recently (...yeah I know) on my laptop and I'm noticing something disturbing, Every time I watch a video on Youtube, the temperature of the system goes up to almost 80! But in task manager, the system is only utilizing about 20-25 percent of the available CPU resources. I never observed this on Internet Explorer. I can't seem to figure out what's causing it. I've disabled extensions, cleared history, cookies, all that junk. I even uninstalled and re installed and nothing is working. I'm still observing the same thing. I was wondering if anyone knew why this was happening and if you know what I could do to prevent it from happening. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help!

woooooow!!! hahaha I actually like HP though. Ok so what you're suggesting is that the GPU could be under load and I don't know about it??? Hmmm I wonder what would cause that. Could you give me a link to that program that monitors the GPU temps?

Ok ok, I assume that would entail getting another one entirely right? Or can you actually swap out the screen? And do you have a desktop as well or just the notebook?
