Are you materialistic?

I mean I am not materialistic in the sense that I value things above people, but I am materialistic in the sense that I really like new things, all the damn time.

I like new phones, new parts, new room accesoires, new everything.

If I can buy it, I will buy it, no doubt.

I know it's probably a bad quality, I am very much alone in this in the Netherlands because Dutchies are usually very much about not spending too much and wanting the best for cheap etc.

Therefore sometimes my friends find me crazy a bit, but then again, some spend tons on festivals, others on clothes etc.

Are you a big spender? I very much like new things even though It's not because of lack of human interaction or love or anything, I have that.

I also have this mindset of 'as a kid I didn't have much so now I will spend like there is no tomorrow'

I love getting new things :P I think i'm about the same as you though. I do spend very carefully though.

I tend to horde thing a little too..

Nothing better then opening a package to get to long awaited goodies :P

Some people will spend hundreds on drink, and then look at you funny for buying a nice gpu, they simple are not open enough to see the parallels.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

I consider myself to be pretty materialistic, yeah.

Like most people hear are saying: I enjoy new things.

Yep, just weird that they can't fathom spending on something else.

Well in that case this isn't really about being a materialist.. More about being a shopaholic or "big-spender" as you put it.

Everybody likes new things, if you have the means, spend em how you want but never live beyond your means. :) This is what I live by.

Like in the philosophical sense? Sure, I can be considered a materialist

I do think all thing, with our current understanding of the physical universe, can be explaine via physical phenomenons.

If you mean the more traditional sense, not really. I only tend to buy things I really need.

I don't mind spending money on expensive things, but there needs to be damn good reason to why I spend the money.
