I like iOS for tablet. android just doesnt work on tablets imo. I would rather a ipad than a nexus anyday. it just feels nicer than android, i cant really explain it.

Love Android as a phone OS, but I think I would actually prefer Windows 8 for my tablet.  Windows RT or even Pro, is very flexible for a tablet OS.

Windows would run great on a tablet but i don't personally own a windows tablet.

That being said iOS has been designed just so much more than android for tablets. I understand you lose a lot of control over what you can do with the tablet like super advanced stuff but the GUI is clean, everything installs properly there's never any compatibility issues, everything works.

Also iOS is consistent across every apple tablet whereas its more work to pick the right android tablet. If you're looking to buy a tablet get the ipad mini I know this is the 2nd topic I've fan boyed it in but it's basically an ipad 2 that's small enough for long periods of use like in class or games. iOS feels and runs so much smoother than android also.

I have android on my tablet and it is excellent, quick, and easy to use, You have more control and are not controlled by the all and mighty idiots at apple who think they should control your device that you paid for. Also you can get android tablets that are a lot more powerful than the iPads.
