I know this is a Lego thread, but this is K'nex, a building toy. And it's super addictive. Sorry if it's a bit off topic. but it's k'nex, a very good american made building toy.

Ooh I used to love K'nex!  Sometimes seemed a bit limited tho...

Actually I read something in make magazine about someone who built a "supercomputer" (for the time) that is connected to some cancer research network, I want to say it was called wcc or something. He held everything together with lego

Son's (the one with learning difficulties) builds.  he has a wee job now (Gardening:well a training placement really, but he calls it 'his work') but doesn't drink or go out so tends to spend on this


 

Not uploaded yet are, a hovercraft, an aeroplane, a F1 car and a 4X4

 

He seems to be a bit of a savant with construction toys, some of his K'NEX creations when he was younger have to be seen to be believed.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

heres something about legos (corresponding to this thread) I made a little thing for my rare pocket monsters (poke mon) card and then I left then I came back and all my Legos fell on the floor I was like :o

pics or it didn't happen :P

 

I made a similar model for framing some rare Lego promotional cards...

Lego Universe was fun. It might have survived if it had a singleplayer but that defeats the point of MMO.

I think it would have work even better if they had used micro-transactions instead of Subscription since they were targeting kids.  That and not making the "buy game time online" process exceedingly painful and frustrating

 

Also what faction/kit?  I was a rank 3 assembly engineer...

I built a pretty bangin battleship once, but i'm pretty sure it's no longer in one piece...oh well

I made it to mostly rank 2 Paradox Space Marauder. My name (Yummychickenblue) is actually a shortened version of my LU name that was Yummychickenbluefin.

i made a coin-operated candy machine about a month ago, otherwise, i havn't touched legos in 2-3 years. :D

 

and no, i didn't follow any instructions. i made the mechanism myself. :P
