GTA V optimized for Nvidia?

So not sure if this is old news or not, besides the rumors of there being Nvidia features in the game but I was installing a driver and saw this.

What if, AMD bribed Nvidia into buying the rights for GTA5, so they can F*** it all up, and force people to buy it on the console to get a playable experience. No matter what console they buy, it will have AMD hardware, which = AMD hardware sales which = money for AMD, which can only mean one thing.

GTA5, take the letters out and it's just 5. Compare that to the Xbox one and PS4, which are the only 2 next gen consoles (sorry Wii u EXTREME doesnt count).

Now take that 5 and subtract 2, which is 3. Steam just crashed on my computer meaning only one thing, and one thing only.

 

HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!

 

 

 

In a more serious note, I hope they don't screw it up that badly, I'd really like to get the better pc experience even on my 270X :l

Yo, just because nVidia is advertising a game doesn't mean that it won't support Mantle. This is just an ad for GTA V and Geforce experience, it doesn't actually mean anything.

The thing is these ads with the "can you run it" thing are from my knowledge on Nvidia optimized games, for example Far Cry 4 and Evolve had these ads.

I think its more for optimizing settings for GTA V, but there are probably other optimizations as well(What game doesn't have optimizations TBH, other than Ubisoft's games).

Well why then other companys outperform them in every way? every fucking title is fucking "NVIDIA , HOW ITS MEANT TO BE PLAYED" this is just fucking bullshit. AMD is going no were. Metal gear solid v is on the nvidia side but it runs great on amd rig. Easily can get 60 fps. Thanks for the devs not being assholes.

Not sure what argument you are trying to make but it seems fairly irrelevant to my post. AMD has it's place. Yes Nvidia outperforms it in cases but AMD can match performance a lot of the time at a lower cost. They're not gonna die, in fact I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep growing.
