Can you use a wireless headset with a desktop microphone

Pretty much as the title suggests. I'm looking to replace my corsair 1500v2 (gone through about 5 PC upgrades). I want something like a corsair 2100, but the mic isn't the best on headsets like these so I was wondering could you use a wireless headset with a desktop mic. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you should be able to choose which sound device to use through the OS and/or software.

Yep, you will have to go into your audio properties and manually select the desktop mic as the default device(easy though).
