Recommended passive coolers

I'm in the final stages of building my Dad's new desktop, however since he is a laborer and the current environment of his desk is extremely dirty and dusty, I've decided to have no moving parts at all inside his computer. What would be some good passive coolers, with the CPU socket being either LGA775 for a Core 2 Duo E8500/P4 360/Xeon X5450 (either of them downclocked if necessary-as long as they are faster than the current Phenom II 1.66GHz), or s1150 for an i5 4440, with 2 cores disabled for lower temps. The computer will be used 99% of the time for Facebook, Youtube and saving photos off a camera so the CPU won't see any heavy loads.

6.5inch/650mm, though I'm not adverse to buying a new case as the one I plan to use is from 2003 and has a lot of rust on the inside of the side panels.

Basically anything with a fairly big heatsink.

I have a Core 2 Duo E8400 (65W) running of a Hyper 212 Plus with no fan and it's perfectly fine, maximum temps are 69c under AIDA64 in a case with only two 80mm fans. 

 

If you can get something like an i5-4440S or i3-4130T (or really, any other "S" or "T" class Core i chip) then I see no problem with running a Hyper 212 EVO fanless on one of those.

So I don't need any specific coolers then, just anything with a big heatsink?  (And the thread didn't seem that live in the first place-I'm not sure but it seems that not too many people passively cool any more).

There are coolers designed specifically for passively cooled PCs, and at one point I thought they were a viable option, until I found out that a (much cheaper) Hyper 212 with no fan cools a 65W chip perfectly fine.

Looking at the 612, it seems that it might be the better option as it specifically mentions in its specs passive usage without its fan.

Apparently the 212 EVO is on par with the 612 if not slightly better in some cases, as the 612 has a copper base while the 212E has direct-contact heatpipes. Apparently some 612s also have issues with build quality and heatpipe contact as well...

Within margin of error I'd say performance of the two to be about the same. The 212E is cheaper though....

How is this better performing then the Noctua... the Thermalright True Spirit does noticeably better then the 612, and the U14S is even better then the True Spirit.

I'd honestly go with a Thermalright True Spirit 120M. Was the cream of the crop back in the 775 days and is still good now. Have one working rn, and it works fine.

Oh, didn't notice. Whoops. But i think my cooler isn't really working. Or it might just be thermal paste, cuz my CPU seems to idle at 50C when usually it would be at like 30, so it might be time to replace the paste.

Just looking at it, even the 90mm version was able to keep an FX 8350 at reasonable temperatures. Looking at the results, the 120mm variant is a good option for passive cooling.
