so i am doing a project about Germany during the middle ages from the years 800-1500AD. what important events happened in the span of those years that i should include in my project.

Germany as it is right now exists since 1949.

Btw.: From 862 to 1806 the country was called "Heiliges römisches Reich" (Or Holy Roman Empire). So maybe that helps you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Roman_Empire

germany is not really an old country... it was formed by many states to make traveling and trading more easy and language problems too. and then it was split after wwII and reunited in 1989. 
Google what happend in central-europe and you know what happened in "germany"

Edit: Just so you know, germans are not like Amerikans. We aren't proud of every single event that happend ever. In school we get a general overview of europe more than germany itself.

Google doch selber du faule Sau. Es gibt Youtube, Wikipedia und andere Quellen. Diese Jugend von Heute, den ganzen Tag ziehen die sich einen ranz rein und wenn es um die Schule geht keine Motivation.
