free game recorder software

hi guys im looking the best free to use game recorder software available. im using the evga 970 ftw with 16gb of ram anf the fx-8350 cpu. with a 1080p monitor plz post what software you have used and gotten a really good experience with ty.

There's XSplit, OBS or Shadowplay.

 

XSplit allows for different scenes, multiple FPS, screen sections and plugins to be added for notifiers etc.

 

OBS does the same thing but in a less professional looking software and i don't think is as easy to use as XSplit

 

ShadowPlay as far as i'm aware only records your games and nothing else so you'd have to edit it. (As far as i'm aware)

 

If i'm wrong on any of this then i'm sure somebody will correct me, but i use XSplit as it's free to use now. Just preferance on software you like the use and look or i suppose.

 

Like most things, try them all.. Research and use the one you think looks, feels and suits you.

I would suggest Open Broadcasting Software. Typically used for live streaming but can record games as well as if not better than Fraps. It's great!
