To spread?

 

No idea , but apply a pea sized portion in the center of the cpu and it will spread with it gets in contact with the heat sink.

uhh, when you press down your heatsink to it? its kinda like fudge, its thick, but not that liquid thick, it doesnt spread... its more of a LOTION THICK! Thats right...

It will spread more when you add heatsink on it and move heatsink around. But thermal paste's don't "set" like liquid surface would. Its more like thick clay.
