Do red switches have less resistance than a laptop keyboard

I have only used laptop and general office keyboards is it easier to press down on a red switch.

Well I'm not really sure. They are just so different I think it is very hard to even begin to compare a mechanical keyboard to most of the terrible built in laptop keyboards. Its just such a different feel, and not just the force needed to push down but sense of when you have hit made the key actuate, when you button out, and the smoothness of typing. 

 

After using my mech board I simply put can't type on my Laptop any more. It is almost like nails on chalkboard.
