go with 2 970es. more bang for your buck

My build that I made for you has 16GB of ram you cannot go wrong.There is no point in getting a 970/980.Also its way cheaper then getting dual 970's with a i5.

If you get dual 290X you can also get a i7.

Go with windows 8.1 it is far better then 7. Also it uses the new GPT disk format and because of this its much more secure. Also windows 8.1 is just generally faster than 7.

I have heard nothing but nightmares about windows 8/8.1. I do know they all offer the free upgrade to windows 10 on its release.

The reason I mentioned the new Partition Formatting is because windows 7 doesn't use it but windows 10 does. This means that you will have to completely re install  and re format when win 10 comes out. If you use 8.1 now you won't have to worry about that.
