Ok I think im going to buy an r9 280x right now and upgrade again in 2 years, will this card handle 1080p 60hz for the 2 years?

Still a very good card, should have no problem with most games @ 1080p for a while. Might have to turn down the details at some point tho...

I was gonna buy r9 290 but i could only afforc the asus direct cu II version which apparantly sucks balls and breaks alot

Im not disputing that the asus version doesnt work but on a good amount of occasions faulty cards apparantly bad cooling etc
