hi i mask on top an the underside of the top ( one thing to look at is if you are going to put perspex on the side you need to put the side on the case and pull it back to see how much you can cut ,you need to make sure you leave the space for the side to lock in to the mean body of the case) as i did not do this i had to mode the locking hocks a little to give me the little extra

attachicon.gif p8310040.jpg

attachicon.gif p8310041.jpg

Bits you will need are:

A dremel

Dremel cutting blades ( metal one Code SC476 are the ones i used )

a smale hacksaw

may be a jigsaw

a small round coin for the corners

then you just mark where you want to cut and cut it with a steady hand .small bit of advice if you tilt the dremel up it will cut a radius cut but plz practice before you do it .

It takes time and a steady hand to cut so plz take your time . im no expert but just give it a try its not hard like i said just take your time

hope this helps

thanks a lot mate, This is very helpful :)

did you find it already made or did you give the specifics to a "blacksmith"? Or did you do it by yourself?

I order it off a website and told them what I wanted and they sent me a render to check that it was as I had asked for .

The web site was :

http://www.coldzero.eu/nvidia/1445-coldzero-backplate-gtx-780-1.html

The customer service was ace and they were very helpful I would recommend them very highly :D

Nice! The tube routing from the GPU across the PCI slots is pretty ingenious

I must say. :D

had a small set back my own thought really the water-cooling leaked on to the motherboard and bricked it but I've got a new one coming so will change the loop around ( one of the bends is a little to bent and as I move the case it dislodged and I dint see it only a small leak but a big dent in my wallet lol )

but that how it goes I spouse first time water-cooling an I do this . I did a 24 hour leak test and no leaks but when I move it :( but hay that's life

Sucks to hear, but yeah, it happens. I myself have had one as well at some point.
