The right CPU cooler

Go to solution Solved by Faceman,

So my Intel Core i7-4790k is getting some way too high temps just from gaming (~85 degrees C) because I have the stock cooler installed. I want to overclock it and have it run cooler, so I'm thinking maybe the Corsair Hydro H100i or maybe the Enermax LiqTech 240. Which one of those will perform best? Is it correct that they don't need for me to maintain them or change the liquid? Any other suggestions? Thank you

Avoid the H100i, mounting problems and noise issues.

I recommend the Cooler Master Nepton 240M because it is low price, and has an excellent blend of low noise and high performance without having to change out the fans.

Look at the new H110i GT. It'll be a beast in cooling and it just came out.

I forgot to mention that it's in an Antec 1200 v3, so it can only be 120mm x2. Unfortunately not those 140mm's.

I would get a nice dual air-cooler if it will fit. Phanteks has a nice one; it is in quite a few colors and performs just under a noctua nh-d15 which is better than basically any AIO.

Ok you'll need a 95 Honda civic a sump pump some garden hose a refrigerator and a lot of duct tape. Or maybe a Nepton 240 although the nh-d15 is a good option aswell
