somehow Google enjoys the city life, and I'm trying to run away from it!

I know that feeling. I've lived on the outskirts of the city before, never liked it, too many people.

how about Georgia, anyone there that can give an input?

I like Georgia. Nice people there and good weather. I go through Atlanta a lot.

Don't ever go outside when its snowing in GA. They don't have snow trucks. I got stuck in 16 hours traffic jam because of 4 inches of snow. I almost ran out of gas and it was the worst day of my life. 4 inches of snow. I'm use to snow but Georgians like to drive slow. Took me 16 hours to make it .3 miles.

Love cats and Linus. Check out linuscattips-fan-club. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Z9QDVn and Asus ROG Swift. I love anime as well. Check out Heaven Society heaven-society. My own personal giveaway thread http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/387856-evga-geforce-gtx-970-giveaway-presented-by-grimneo/.

I was mostly joking, it does snow a lot, the salt does eat your car and it is freaking cold if I'm not completely mistaken. Why do you want to leave SoCal? It seems like one of the most amazing places on earth. Also what is your profession?

Edit: You can usually find IT jobs wherever you go. The most important thing is where do you want to go?

"most amazing places on earth" haha omg haha sure ha sure

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.1 Corinthians 13:4

What's missing? You have absolutely amazing weather, fantastic nature, a great creative scene and one of the biggest you're one of the biggest IT hubs in the world. On top of that compared to say Denmark they haven't managed to ban every single entertaining thing under the sun yet either.

Is this... a simpson movie reference?

It might be, but it's also an actual thing.

Our immigration laws aren't strict. They're perfect at doing what they're intended to do. Keeping you filthy disgusting Americans away

:)

Why do you want to move? How old are you? What kind of work are you interested in (labor, desk, etc) what kind of schooling do you have, etc

I would love to move to Canada when I'm older. I hear Toronto is an amazing place, and I'm actually going to try to go up there this summer to see for myself. :D

Oh, and hockey is pretty much the best. There's almost nothing that gives me the chills like a hockey arena singing O Canada in unison. So very awesome.

Scandinavia should be good, but I might be a little biased ;)

Out immigration laws aren't the easiest to get around (at least not in Denmark).

Goodbye! What is their internet like?

I hear it's pretty good actually, but it obviously depends on where you live.

Nah man, that's just to obtain citizenship, before that you have to actually get a Danish green card which you obtain based on language skills, education and experience. You also need to have 12000 dollars available as a single person over 25 to qualify and have valid health insurance.

Once I've made my way around Japan for a few years, maybe a decade or two, I'm thinking of going to Norway. Go to a store and eat free expired food! jk...

I do really like Norway, though.

You'll have to sell your liver to gangsters to be able to buy even expired food in Norway ;) It's expensive as damn there for a non Norwegian citizen. Come to Finland. We have Santa and Fazer chocolate (funny as shit if pronounced phaser) :P

It's getting pretty freaking expensive everywhere you go these days. Japan's pretty expensive too. It's not so bad though.

Maybe things will change by then. We're talking several decades here. I may just make a boat out of a Toyota Hilux and sail the world.
