Mid Case with Cable Good Cable Management.

I made the mistake of buying a Cooler Master Elite 430 which although it is cheap has zero cable management. I do not need an expensive or nice case besides having ok cable management. Also a window is a must. I would like to spend under $100 closer to 50 is better. I was thinking of going for a Fractal Design Define R4 Black but it is a little expensive for me. So my question is any suggestions on cases? I noticed the R4 is on sale for 79 at NCIX today so might go for it. What are your opinions?

Thanks so much for the help. I was hoping for a cheaper suggestion since my main focus is cable management and the sound canceling and all that I dont need.

Storm Scout 2 is a great choice; Linus did a build guide with it if you haven't seen it.  It's closer to the higher end of your budget, though, at $85 on Amazon and Newegg.

Do you know what the difference between a Storm Scout and a Storm Scout 2 Advanced?

Ok with shipping cost, I could go with the R4 that will cost $95 from NCIX or the Storm Scout (not the 2) for $55 at Newegg (including $10 MIR). Both are great deals on their normal prices but which is better? Is the R4 worth the $40 extra?

The R4 is a good case and build quality.

If you want a windowed case look at the Corsair Carbide 300R and also if you order from Corsair direct order the rubber grommet kit for the 800D (apparently fit the cable management holes) its a good price and good mid tower with usb 3.0.

or a C70 but will cost more.

got to love Asus components

either of the fractal case are great choices. allow of excellent air-cooling options

as well as water-cooling for future projects. both are windowed and one or the

other will be on sale for a great deal. i prefer the midi as the "silence" (front door)

option is all relative to one's hearing and what device is actually making the noise.

the case is only "muffling" the sound, not making it silent. fix the noisy device and

now it is quieter... just my two cents..

Corsair 400R. Theres so much room for cable management. You can literally just stuff the cables/wires back there and make the front presentable then put on the back panel and it will fit.

The CM 690 II is more expensive than the Elite 430 but is an amazing case.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If you want a silent case, get a R4. If not, get a Storm Scout. The Arc Midi R2 is also a good choice.

Thanks for all the help on this. I ended up with the Rosewill Blackhawk. Case is working out well and cable management is dealt with. Thanks for all the suggestions.
