AMD said it was the same thing. Both showed identical results. So I guess bridgeless is better.

newer GPUs from AMD are now going bridgeless

 

this means your PCI-E lanes are now more important than before

 

you will need to use board which support SLi support for maximum performance

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

think u can crossfire on any 2 pcie 16slot.

only nvidia require u with a sli certified board to use

it.

Also Nvidia is not going to bridgeless any time soon.

CF is very loose with the standards

 

you can run with X4 PCI-E 2.0

 

but using that little lanes with a 290/X is stupid IMO
