Resolution?

I have 2 questions:

1) What resolution will you be playing at?

2) Is that a 2GB version of the GTX 680? (I assume yes)

I'd imagine it would take about a 770 to get a constant 60fps with the maximum settings and no AA at 1080p. I have no idea what it would take for 120fps though, it also depends on the map, number of players, etc. too.

If it's indeed at 1080p, yes. GTX 760 review for reference: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7103/nvidia-geforce-gtx-760-review/10

There's a 670 in there. Slightly less powerful than a 680. Link is to the Battlefield 3 FPS page.

BF3 pushes the 7970 OC - So BF4 you will expect to be far more demanding.

It's dependent on your setup, resolution & current system specs.

You would hope a SLI 680 system would perform well, but we really never know.

Look at Crysis 3 :o

I would guess it should be fine, but a constant 120fps is not guaranteed since i've seen videos of people having a GTX 690 getting 100 fps at MAX in BF3. (85-95 whilst recording)

At e3 they where running bf3 ultra 1900x1200 with two 7970s(don't know the fps but probably above 60). Two 680s in sli should scale as good if not better .

They we're running vsync (console fps lock)

Vsync is on PCs too.

Although it's only an ALPHA benchmark, Nvidia cards seem to perform better currently in BF4 - although expect that to change come release, as it's aimed for AMD.

Yeah but they we're just showing off how it would look on consoles.

I get a constant 60fps completely maxed out on a gtx 670.

Yeah, i've searched around and 2x680's should give you 70 - 130 FPS in BF3. So i'm sorry i don't think 2 gpu's will give you a constant 120fps unless you lower the settings on the game to get you those 120fps^^

Edit: Actually it's more like up to 180 fps depending on map^^

I know on my 580 i get up to 100 fps on some maps on some area's ^^

Alright so based on what limited info is available for BF4 (e.g. we won't know 100% until it comes out), I would say this:

1080p maxed out via 2x 680 in SLI: Yes

At 120 fps constant: Probably not

Above 60 fps constant: Very likely yes

I'd say you'll get a variable frame-rate between 120-80 or so. It probably will drop below 120 fps often, but will still be pretty high.

If you want 120 fps constant, you're likely looking at 2x GTX 780's or 2x Titan's in SLI.

No textures, ignore that benchmark.
