Nvidia Shield delayed until July

Nvidia has been forced to push back the release date of their Android-based gaming platform Nvidia Shield until July.  Originally, the device was going to be released this Thursday but “final quality-assurance testing has just turned up a mechanical issue.”

i dont think you can compare the shield to a tablet in any way!

The problem for me is, why would i want to play my games in the kitchen instead of sitting in front of my computer? i mean, basically its the same thing but just +300bucks. If you could play your games wherever you are, then its cool but inside my house? wtf?

Ya i know what you mean I'm thinking the same thing too. -_- I would rather use my 2k monitor than a 720p monitor to play my games in my house. But i was wondering, lets say i was playing Crysis 3 in my living room on my Shield and someone wants to use my PC to play something. Can they use to play games while im using my Shield to stream or can they use it at all for that matter? :huh:

i dont think you can play 2 games at the same time because your gpu is busy rendering so that would really f*ck up both games! :P
