Is your computer a heater?

Wanted to know if anyone else has the same issues lol.

 

 

my room is about 8 feet by 10 feet, and my computer heats that crap up so fast lol, if I don't turn my AC on for at least 15 minutes every hour my room hits like 75+ degrees Fahrenheit lol

You can see my rig in my signature and it's also a heater. I cannot give you degrees but when on you can easily tell the difference in temperature.

if the 6770 is anything, it's not Hot. I'd say my pc outputs just above room temperature most of the time.

Mine is not a heater, it's a dust collector. My 900d is out of the box. I'm waiting for the other hardware to come in so I can actually build my system.

A heater?......Nah mines more like a blast furnace, thing will instantly raise the temperature in the room to unbearable even on idle and outpower any Air conditioning unit.

ill be first to say it, overclock'd bulldozer..

nope, none of the pc's ive built ove rhte last 2 years run hot (well i did get a q6600 up to 3.6ghz on an antec 620 with push pull fans at 12v but it wasnt a "build", more  like a lets see what it can do..)

currently on the sig rig, the room was cooking a while ago, felt the air out the back and its cooler than room temp (oven was still hot from the pizza it seems)

42in led tv doesnt put any heat out, so my place is always cool (big living room too)

only thing i have that gets hot is the gtx285 but i keep the fans up, high temps worry me.

In the middle of summer it is normally between 25 and 40°C inside, With my computer on with no A/C it gets to a blazing 45°C. (when it gets there I turn the A/C on because I can't deal with the heat any more)

In winter, it can be anywhere between -5°C and 5°C inside with My computer is on it gets up to a more comfortable 10-15°C. When its winter I move my other machine (and Fold) and server into my computer room which keeps the room at a way more comfortable 20-25°C

 

Needless to say my Main Rig puts out way more heat than both my other machine and and server but it all helps in winter :)

Well it can be if I am using it for gaming or testing, with FX8120 @ 5GHz it will get toasty :) .
