Malwarebytes - Active scan, remove all threats then uninstall

MSE - passive scanning

 

or whatever - thats just what I use

hello guys/girls i have tons of viruses on my laptop. i used to use limewire which i found out that it contains tons of viruses. i am looking to clean up my laptop and make it as fast as possible. 

 

please if any suggestions for some good malware and virus removing programs.

 

i have a 3-4 year old laptop

i am running windows 7

Malwarebytes all the way, I usually just use Windows Defender as well, scans every day on MWB + constant monitoring.

The projects never end in my line of work.

malwarebytes and avg are great. a re-format is best though.
