It's best to invest in quieter components such as fans and coolers first before sound dampening, unless you hear echoing in your case from already quiet components it won't be a huge difference.

As for be quite they still seem to have their dampening kit on their site:http://www.bequiet.com/en/accessories/61

If you want affordable and good quality sound dampening foam, Foam Factory is a good place to look: http://www.thefoamfactory.com/closedcellfoam/neoprene.html

I have silent components already the loudest being my mechanical hard drives(need for storage and recordings) My room is pretty quiet so the PC still sounds loud due to the hard drives.

Be quiet has it listed but out of stock everywhere.

Thanks ill take a look

Get some silverstone ones and cut them

Have you considered suspending your drives to prevent vibrations from being pass through into the case or remount the cages so the sit on a block of foam, I find it helps take away a lot of vibrations that occurs in most cases.

That looks cool. doesnt say how to do it though.

also my hard drives are mounted onto a drive converter because the actual drive cages are removed to make room

The elastic part isn't too hard it just need to be mounted in the 5.25" drive bays to accommodate the extra room needed to hold the drives, but an easier one I personally like is just using a thick block of foam to help isolate it.

here are a few way's I've seen people mount their drives:

Are you running a pump/res combo or separate, if it's separate you could place it on some foam and try using soft tubing to connect the pump to reduce and vibrations.

Yeah that works really well also, I mounted mine to a piece of plexi and double stuck a piece of thick neoprene between it and the case  :P

Just don't forget when moving it around!

oh its more complicated than just that, the 2 thin foam strips on the side are screwed to the hdd, then those strips are super glued to the main larger foam, then that has double sided tape with the bubble wrap, which has double sided foam with the case lol

Yeah I ordered some pads,my pump is a d5 pump, has a small foam piece but i guess it got flattened.

I was thinking about doing that, the elastic band is more work but it helps the drives stay in place if I want to move my PC around.
