No. in LCS (liquid cooling solution) sets, there isn't a reservoir or something like that, so it wont contain any air bubbles.

mounting it whith the tubing on top or bottom doesn't matter. in custom watercooling, it do is usefull for bleeding out your loop to have your tubes on the top.

Hmm... i wouldn't recommend that, i'm not sure what type of fans you would like but i would strongly recommend scythe gentle typhoons as they have a great noise to performance ratio. They are however a bit more pricey than the ones you were looking at http://ncix.com/search/?categoryid=0&q=scythe+gentle. The Corsair Air Series SP120 are also great fans for radiator however they are also a bit more pricey than the ones you were looking at http://ncix.com/search/?categoryid=0&q=Corsair+Air+Series+SP120. Both of these fans are great for the H60 and if you have any other build you can re-use them! If you would like me to look up some other different fans, please tell me. I hope this helped!

FYI - a lot of the AiO cooling solutions do have some bit of air in them - they are not sealed perfectly. Hence why you do get some noise, especially if you move your rad around. My Antec Kueler 920 makes a terrible noise after moving the rad but settles down pretty quick...

These http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=66920 are a lot better for rad's then the Corsair. They make a better seal on the rad.

Yes that is sadly true. but there is nothing you can do about it, so it wouldn't matter.

Maybe it is even better for the pump that you mount the tubes on the bottom because the pump wont suck in air, which will break the pump.

  • 3 months later...

i wonder if this is normal? i have a 1st gen corsair h60 which is about more than a year old. ive decided to change the the thermal paste to prolimatech pk1. after applying,  ive noticed my idle temp went higher (5-8 deg ) than the stock paste that comes with the cooler. load temps seem to be the same.
