Reseat properly the heatsink with new thermal paste.

Check again if it shows the same temps -> touch-> Doesn't cook your fingers? = Faulty sensors

 

Yeah i think this is wahts happening.

 

A cpu at 116 degres woundlt last long lol.

I think sensors read wrong, but clearing out dust and replacing thermal paste could help.

 

If it stays at 116 try SpeedFan to read temps, if they read something silly it's just a broken sensor.
