If you RAID two drives they have to both be formatted, losing your install. I think (not 100% sure) you can create a restore point on a different drive and RAID your drives and just put the restore on the RAIDed drives.

Ok tnx

Does the restore point backup the os too?

Can I reinstall windows os and not having issue with the license?

You should have no problem using the product key again, but you may have to activate over the phone; it's all automated and very simple.

Activate over the phone how?

In Windows 7 (assuming the same for 8), there's a number of blank boxes where you'll enter numbers the automated voice on the phones tells you.

Possible? Of course. Not even difficult. Just can't see a reason to do it...

Just go into raid setup, select 2 of the 4 drives for a RAID0 array, leave the other 2 alone. Done. Install the OS to the newly created larger (twice the size of individual drives) drive you see during installation. Nothing more to it.
