guys im at the last stage of my pc building, I gotta chose an OS. Whats the big difference between widowz 8.1 , enterprise, or N, or student, or Pro?

If you are eligible, go for the Student edition as it is the Pro version of Windows at quarter the price. You do not need an enterprise edition unless you are an enterprise and want to make use of specific enterprise features.

Windows 8.1 Core is probably what you'll be wanting to go for. To know the differences between Core and Pro click here.

Enterprise, N, and student I would just ignore.

P.S. "Core" is just plain old Windows 8.1

I was a sucker for this one but I'm glad I went with Windows 8.1 Pro in the end.

If you're just wanting an OS just to do normal tasks etc, get the standard Windows 8.1

If you're going to be using office, you're not going to notice any of the other features - Even when playing games etc. :D
