Dropping a phone?

Like when you drop a phone and its about to hit the ground, you feel like the whole world is gonna blow up?

Is it just me or is that a thing?

Your heart skips a beat,  when you drop your phone and it's completely fine it feels like you've won in life... However, I dropped my phone recently, but I'm getting a OnePlus One soon so it doesn't matter.

I've dropped my current phone once or twice since I've had it, but it's normally onto carpet. I tend to not drop it outside. I always get slightly nervous with it out near water though

N95 got crushed by a car(accident, fell out of pocket as i got out of car, didnt know until a while later), survived that but the battery caught fire a few days later so we busted out the hose and went to town on it, of course there wad damage it died. The n70 is in my house somewhere, im not too sure.

I always have a weird feeling that I might throw it into the water, just because I think that it would be bad if my phone broke... I don't know why.

Especially now that I have a note 4 I cant afford to drop it...
