Fiio e10K low or high gain?

So I have Sennheiser HD558s (50ohms), should I put my fiio on low or high gain and what should my windows volume be?

Muh rig: i7 4770k, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, MSI Z87 G45, Kingston Hyper X Blu 8GB, Samsung 840 EVO 120 + WD Blue 1 TB, Asus GTX 770 2GB, Corsair 200r + 2x Corsair AF 120 Blue + 1x Stock corsair fan, Corsair TX650, LG 27EA33V IPS, Steelseries Sensei Raw + QCK mini, CM Quickfire Ultimate Blue.

Turn your Windows volume all the way up, keep your gain switch on low and use the volume knob on the E10 as the master control for volume.

 

That's what I do anyways.

Gain should always be set as low as possible. The only reason you would raise it is if you don't get enough volume otherwise.
