Ever got scammed ?

Have you ever got scammed or done something stupid that lost you stuff or money on the internet ?

 

I have once a year ago , a guy was overpaying for a 5$ skin with a 5.8$ on csgolounge , and i had that skin so i went to do the trade , the guy accepted , and then i realised the skin was field tested instead of factory new ( from a value of 5.8 to 0.5 ) . I kicked myself and always check the trades better.

Not really. I did click one of those Steam scam links. But I ran it while in Airplane mode, just in case.

Ended up being a malicious program (Disguised as a Screensaver) and Windows Defender murdered it.

Yeah i was stoopid back then . I remember being like :

My brother once found a 'deal' on gumtree were someone was offering an iPhone and iPad for around £400 but wanted paying by bank transfer (yep); so, my mum gave him the money for it as it was for his birthday and he did the bank transfer. 

 

Never heard from them again, the case was sent to the FBI based in London but we've never heard a peep and this was around 3 years ago. I didn't know this was going on until they had lost all the money, and i don't think my mum was aware it was a direct bank transfer either. Otherwise i would've objected against it, but there we go. I've never personally been scammed though.

I haven't received a shirt bought on ebay once, once I tried to contact the seller 1 month later he deleted his account. I've still to find out if he scammed me or if it's  due to our shitty customs service, oh well t was just 25€.
