Help new speakers don't work.

Hey, i just brought some new logitech z150 speakers they run of a 3.5mm aux cable and it works on my phone but not of my pc.

 

when i plug it in and my realtek software opens and it says that it is front speakers but they don't work. I have set them up properly but they still dont work, please help.

Set them as default output in the windows sound settings...

Try and plug them into the actual motherboard jack at the back.

There's a possibility your onboard is dead. I had dead onboard once. Everything reports normal in windows, but no audio signal coming out of any jacks. Consider this possibility, if everything else fail.
