Looking for college laptop

Hi ive been looking for a good laptop for college. It will mostly be used for school work/takeing notes but also want to be able to play games like wow on weekends if i go home and dont have my desktop with me. I was wondering if anyone would have some sugestions preferibally around 500$.

how about the HP stream ?

not to interested in the stream looks like a good college laptop but i also need it to be able to play wow when i go home and i dont think it would be able to handle it.

Go for Dell Inspiron 15 3000 or Acer Switch 10 which is a detachable notebook..
